The 18th Annual Oxnard Multicultural Festival is scheduled for Saturday, October 5, 2013. The festival will be held at Plaza Park in Downtown Oxnard from 10 AM – 6 PM, celebrating the rich cultural diversity of its residents. This year’s theme is Many Faces, One Community. Admission is free.
The Multicultural Festival offers a variety of live music, food vendors, exhibitors, demonstrations, and hands-on activities for the entire family. Members of the public are invited to sing along, learn to move to the rhythm of other cultures or try their hand at playing an intriguing native musical instrument. Food vendors offer a variety of ethnic foods, bringing to the community an explosion of aromas and flavors, from places far and near, to make anyone's mouth water. Exhibitors and vendors, enrich the festival with a variety of art objects, crafts, work and play gear, practical and ornamental items from different lands, home or workplace decor, and much more.
